با این توضیحات پس توهمی نباید داشت که تغییر بعدی در ایران نیز، اگر قرار باشد تغییری همه جانبه و بنیادین را با سرعت دامن زند و لایق نام انقلاب باشد، قرار نیست به طور لزوم برای مردم ایران آزادی و عدالت و دمکراسی به همراه آورد. این ارزش ها و آرزوها زمانی حاصل می شوند که نیرویی رهبری حرکت را بر عهده گیرد که منافع خویش را در راستای آنها ببیند، نه در مقابل آنها، مانند سال ۵۷.
